What this viewer does with your page

Upload an HTML, HTM, MHTML or MHT file and it opens as a readable page — no browser extension, no local install, no account.

MHTML and MHT open here even though Firefox and Safari refuse them, because the page is rendered for you rather than by your own browser.

Zoom, move between pages, search the text and print it — the controls you would expect on a PDF, applied to a web page.

A page saved without its companion folder still opens; you get the text and the links, because the images were never inside the file to begin with.

Renders the markup

Headings, tables, lists and CSS layout arrive the way the page was written.

Opens in your browser

No extension to add and no download dialog — the page appears in the tab you are in.

Find any word

Search the rendered text the way you would search a PDF.

Print or save as PDF

What you see on screen is what comes out of the print dialog.

Deleted after you view it

Your file lasts one session. Nothing you upload is stored, indexed or shared.

An HTML file is a web page saved to disk, and most of the time double-clicking it is enough. The trouble is MHTML and MHT — the single-file archives Chrome, Edge and Outlook produce when you save a page or a message. Firefox and Safari will not open them, and a phone usually downloads them instead of showing them. Upload one here and it renders as a page you can read, search and print.

Plain HTML has a failure of its own. A saved page keeps its images and stylesheets in a companion folder beside it, so the moment you email or move the file alone, it arrives as unstyled text with broken pictures. That is the reason MHTML exists: the page, its images and its CSS in one file that survives being sent. Both kinds open here the same way.

The limit is 5 MB, checked in your browser before anything uploads, so an oversized file is refused straight away rather than halfway through. Your file is deleted when the viewing session ends, and there is no account to make first. If you need this rendering inside your own application instead of in a tab, the Doconut SDK is the engine that runs this page.

Web files this viewer opens

Four extensions, up to 5 MB each — all of them a web page saved into a file.

.HTML

A web page saved as a file, or a whole page packed into one.

HTM and HTML are one format under two names; the short spelling survives from when filenames allowed only three letters. MHTML and MHT are different: they carry the page and everything it loads, images included, inside a single file.

Is it safe to view my HTML document online?

The upload travels over HTTPS, and your HTML file is reachable only through a random identifier your browser holds and nothing links to. It is deleted once you have viewed it, which is the part that matters most.

Does Doconut store uploaded HTML files?

It's important to note that we do not store uploaded HTML files after processing. It gets deleted as soon as it is viewed. You are requested to avoid uploading invalid format, corrupt or infected documents here.

Are there any limits to using Doconut.app to view HTML files?

One HTML file at a time, up to 5MB. That ceiling is set per format, so another viewer here may take more or less than this page does.

PUT THIS VIEWER INSIDE YOUR OWN APP
